I broke out an old stamp that I haven't used in ages...the children look rather stoic....in years past people didn't smile in their photos. I wonder was it just because they had to hold their expression for the exposure of the camera or they were unhappy....I'm hoping it was the former...LOL...

I actually read somewhere it had to do with dental hygiene. Lots of people lost their teeth early in life. But these are children so maybe they found socks under the Christmas tree. LoL I love the unexpected black and white of it all! Very pretty!

Beautiful vintage collage in black and white, unhappy...or not what ever your card looks great, In France we mustn't laugh when we make pictures for identity papers, so people look unhappy or even sometimes grumpy!!
